Mikołaj Jazdon

 


Professor AMU Dr. Mikołaj Jazdon, film expert, works in the Department of Film, Television and New Media AMU. Author of the books "Dokumenty Kieślowskiego" (Poznan 2002), "Polskie kino niezależne" (volume editor, Poznan 2005) and "Kino dukumentalne Kazimierza Karabasza" (Poznan 2009). Editor, along with Katarzyna Maka-Malatyńska, of the collective volume "Zobaczyć siebie. Polski film dokumentalny przełomu wieków" (Poznan, 2011), and "Pogranicze dokumentu" (Poznan 2012, volume co-edited with K. Maka-Malatyńska and Piotr Płwuszewski). Responsible for  arranging the content of the  DVD film albums in the series Polska Szkoła Dokumentu (Polish School of Documentary Film) ("Krzysztof Kieslowski," "Casimir Karabasz," "Władysław Ślesicki", "Czarna seria," and "Gryczełowska, Halladin, Kamieńska"). Co-author of the script  of 12 episodes of the television series "Sztuka dokumentu." Artistic Director of the International Film Festival "Off Cinema" in Poznan. In the years 1993-1999, filmmaker in the Amateur Film Club "AWA" in Poznan (creator of the festival award winning "Oczekiwanie" (1994), "Ostatnie spotkanie z Krzysztofem Kieślowskim" (1996), "Polonistka" (1997), and "Autograf" (1998)). He leads the Klub Krótkiego Kina in CK ZAMEK in Poznan, where he presents short films and conducts meetings with the film creators.
