Helge Borgarts


Helge Borgarts is a German composer and video games producer. He started his career with Blue Byte Software, the developer and publisher of famous games like "The Settlers," "Battle Isle" or "Extreme Assault." As Managing director he set up sysis interactive simulations Germany, one of the first European companies developing online games and intelligent platforms. From 2006 to 2013 he was CEO of phenomedia publishing gmbh, one of Germany?s best known developers and publishers of mass market games, best known for the casual title ?Moorhuhn." During that time he produced more than 25 games for all important gaming platforms, established the first casual retail brand in Germany and organized a worldwide publishing network. Since 2013 he works as a freelancing producer, consultant and composer for different gaming companies. Helge is lecturer for Games Economics at the Business and Information Technology School in Iserlohn (BiTS) and Partner of the Berlin Technology company Florenus AG. Working in the games industry for more than 15 years in executive positions, he was also involved in several music projects as producer and composer. Last he wrote several tracks for different independent projects and scored the soundtrack for the video game ?Jade Rousseau ? The Final Revelations," which was partly recorded with big orchestra. In 2011 he contributes music to the game ?Tiger & Chicken? and composed the scores for several casual games.
